Rumson-Fair Haven Regional High School

I attended the University of Michigan School of Music, earning a BM in 1994 and MM in 1997 in Voice Performance. I moved to NYC in 1998, after singing for a season with a regional opera company in Ohio. As a starving artist in the city, I worked a temp job on the New York Stock Exchange Floor (of all places) where I met my husband Kevin. I quit opera in 2000 and gave the finance world a try. Totally not for me! In 2002 I started my MSW at NYU, graduating in 2004. After finishing my degree I worked doing individual psychotherapy with trauma victims at the Karen Horney Clinic in Manhattan. Kevin and I were married shortly after I graduated. Along with my social work career, in 2005 I started singing jazz and cabaret and have been doing that since. Our son, Daniel, was born in October 2005 with some serious medical challenges, so I've been a stay-at-home mom since then. However, I still am singing and performing, though not as regularly as I'd like. Really looking forward to seeing everyone in October.
